Sean has been working as a hearing aid specialist for four years. He was introduced to audiology at a young age through his mother. Inflammation from meningitis caused permanent damage to her auditory nerve resulting in a severe hearing loss and a need to wear hearing aids. While at a follow-up visit with his mom, he met Dr. Stephen Martinez and inquired about shadowing him to learn more about his work. This started Sean’s calling toward becoming an audiologist. Sean completed his Bachelor of Arts at California State University of Long Beach and is a licensed hearing aid dispenser by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensing Board of California. When not at work, Sean enjoys glassblowing, skydiving, learning cultures through different cuisines, exercise regularly and spending quality time with family, friends and his three dogs, Gregory, Mali and Sashi.
